How to Help

We’d love to make it easier for people throughout the Knowne Worlde to find events and practices near them. You can buy us a coffee if you want.

If you’re a webminister and you want to incorporate our map into your website, then you absolutely have permission to link to our site or embed it with credit. If you encounter any issues, please contact us.

If you're an event steward or help maintain Kingdom or Baronial calendars, the best thing you can do to help us is make sure that your calendar is easy for us to import. Put a simple address in the 'location' field - eg. "123 Medieval Road, Historytown, Dreamland". Any additional text - such as directions, entry passcodes, or credit to the owner of the site - should go in the description field, never in the location field. Using a consistent format for items that shouldn't be mapped, like deadlines for officers' reports, will help tools like ours to filter those events out. Editing a placeholder event, rather than deleting and replacing it once you have finalised details, will also help tools like this to avoid duplicate events.

We use tools such as Nominatim, Leaflet, OpenStreetMap and Photon for geocoding and mapping events. We would love to upgrade our geocoding - please let us know if you can help!
